Description: This procurement requests continuation of an existing emergency procurement solution. The solution supports the management, administration and collection of annual revenue exceeding $100,000,000. It is mission critical in ensuring compliance with Federal and State insurance laws and regulations, which govern over 300,000 entities and individuals licensed to provide insurance services in Pennsylvania. It supports administration, including follow up and resolution of disputes between constituents/citizens and insurance providers. It supports the analysis, monitoring and reporting of the financial health insurers in Pennsylvania, providing transparency and oversight. The existing solution does not require significant redesign. In addition, this is the only software solution available, as it is unique to insurance regulation and no other software provides the suite of solutions required to administer the complex and integrated insurance regulatory functions of the agency.  In the interest of uniformity, Vertafore is also utilized by insurance regulators across the country.
