This request for proposals (RFP) provides to those Law Firms interested in submitting proposals for the subject procurement (“Law Firms”) sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for the Governor’s Office of General Counsel’s consideration on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (“Commonwealth”) to satisfy a need for specialized financial services as further described below. Additional detail is provided in Part IV of this RFP.
OGC has an urgent need for Specialized Financial Services Counsel to provide the following services, including but not limited to, advising OGC on an ongoing matter involving a local hospital chain. The firm should have expertise with pensions, ERISA, bankruptcy, complex corporate structures, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions. Ability to provide accounting and financial review a bonus.
This RFP is issued pursuant to Executive Order 2015-2 dated January 20, 2015, and in accordance with Section 518 of the Commonwealth Procurement Code, 62 P.S. § 518 and Part III Chapter 8 of the DGS Procurement Handbook.
