PROJECT TITLE:  Lincoln University - Dickey Hall Upgrade


BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  This project is a renovation and addition project. The existing building, John Miller Dickey Hall (aka: Dickey Hall, or building 107), is a 3-story steel structure (with concrete on metal deck floors and slab-on-grade for the first floor) with brick veneer and limestone on typical steel stud exterior wall construction built in 1990; the building has significant water leakage issues thru the exterior walls. The new additions (which occur on the north and south sides of the building) are of similar structural construction as the existing building. With the exception of the existing Lecture Hall, Main Electrical room, and Elevator, all exterior walls, partitions, ceilings, finishes, and MEP systems are indicated to be removed. As noted the Lecture Hall and Main Electrical room will remain, however the brick veneer will be removed. It should be noted that the campus computer server (data center) resides in the adjacent building and must remain operable during all construction activities. As part of this project, this existing server building will be connected to the existing main building. Although education departments are changing or moving, the basic use of the building will still be educational departments (and classrooms) and will include specialty Classrooms (in addition to typical spaces common for this type of building).

ESTIMATED RANGE:  Over $10,000,000.00

Liquidated Damages = .1 General Construction = $3,000.00 per day, .2 HVAC Construction = $1,000.00 per day, .3 Plumbing Construction = $220.00 per day and .4 Electrical Construction = $750.00 per day.

There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.  Small Diverse Business minimum participation level is 7.5%.
