Description:
The DEP Energy Programs Office is requesting proposals to develop an Energy Assurance Emergency Planning Template for use by local governments to develop robust Energy Assurance Emergency Plans. The template should outline best management practices (BMPs) for energy assurance planning, and include a survey tool to be used by local governments to determine liquid-fuel needs and resources available prior to an emergency.
Proposals should also include the development of training and outreach materials, and plan to hold 3 training workshops targeting local government emergency planning officials. The goal is to help local governments plan for, and prepare to respond to, liquid-fuels shortages. These efforts will ultimately enhance municipal, county, and state preparedness and resiliency.
ITQ was completed with an award over the estimated costs at which, time we must request DGS delegation. This requested delegation is for award approval.
