Description:
|
SWIF is seeking to ensure access to quality health care services for employees who sustain work injuries for which SWIF is liable, while containing costs for those services by: increasing SWIF policy holder use of provider panels, as permitted by 77 P.S. 531 of the Workers Compensation Act; utilizing PPOs and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM); and obtaining discounted process for health care services rendered to SWIF claimants by health care providers which are not currently part of a panel or PPO. SWIF is also seeking to procure comprehensive Medical Bill Review Services to assist in reviewing and paying bills submitted for health care services and supplies provided to its claimants.
