Description:

The Mobile Office Replacement project has been an ongoing project. The Pennsylvania State Police has developed a standard configuration (Specified in Attachment B - System Requirements). The Pennsylvania State Police intends to source this IT Hardware items through a single Bidder (a Manufacturer or Re-Seller). Detailed specifications are provided within this request. The Pennsylvania State Police currently has Panasonic Toughbook Laptop computers in the State Police owned vehicles. They are at "EOL" End of Life and the original warranty has expired, the OEM/Reseller permitted us to purchase an additional 6 month warranty only good through December 2016. The Pennsylvania State Police will be in in an immediate need to have the units replaced under this project. PSP is requesting the ability to procure on a Lease Purchase with Warranty to replace the units with "new" equipment to be installed in approximately 1555 State Police vehicles and compatible accessories. PSP's timeline is to have this bid posted for one month and evaluated and awarded as early as September so we can begin the ordering and rollout of the units before the current warranty expires.
