Description:
The Department is seeking to secure a single entity to operate as the AWC for CHC, OBRA and Act 150 HCBS Participants in all 67 counties in the Commonwealth. Through the implementation of an AWC model of FMS, the Department is seeking to increase the opportunities for Participant choice and self-direction; improve the efficiency and consistency of HCBS services to Participants; identify options for quality improvement strategies and process improvement; and strengthen the Department’s capacity to produce and analyze benchmark statistics to support state and federal monitoring of progress towards the goals of Participant choice and self-determination.
