Description:
|
Per federal regulations (23 CFR 650 Subpart C), an accurate and timely list of state-owned and locally-owned scour critical bridges that require post flood inspections must be provided to the Districts after flood events. Having the post flood scour critical bridge inspection list promptly allows the bridges to be inspected quickly, thereby, enhancing public safety. BridgeWatch, a commercial web-based software developed by USEngineering Solutions, was specifically designed to determine which bridges require inspection after a flood event based on exceeding precipitation and/or stream gauge flow thresholds.
