INVITATION TO BID – SHIPPENSBURG UNIVERSITY
SU-2013/13B: Stewart Hall Renovation
Shippensburg University of the PA State System of Higher Education invites General, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this project at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania consists of Demolition of the existing Stewart Hall front steps, exterior fire escape, interior gymnasium floor, framing and the running track flooring, framing and railing. Construction of a new (gymnasium) event space floor and new structure, railing and track, construction of new offices in the ground floor. Construction of a new egress stair in the existing building. Demolition of existing MEP systems. Construction of new MEP systems in conjunction with the Addition. Construction of a new addition with MEP spaces, new elevator and egress stair. The addition also houses a catering kitchen, restrooms and a reception space. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all roofing and related construction at the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University
A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on June 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Shippensburg University, Stewart Hall - Room 200, Shippensburg, PA 17257. Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, but recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM on July 24, 2018 through PASSHE’s eProcurement Exchange located at https://passhe.procureware.com/home.
The Bid package is available at https://passhe.procureware.com/home. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register at PASSHE’s eProcurement Exchange located at https://passhe.procureware.com/home.
