Description:

The Department of Revenue (DOR) is seeking a Request for Information (RFI) on data governance solutions and industry best practices surrounding government data. Details regarding specific requirements around data governance are included in attachment, DOR Data Governance Requirements. DOR is requesting individual supplier demonstrations of the solution(s) to be conducted at DOR Headquarters at Strawberry Square, Walnut St., Harrisburg, PA 17128. The demonstrations will be scheduled based on response to this RFI. All demonstration sessions shall be for a maximum of one (1) hour and 30 minutes followed by a question and answer period of 30 minutes. Demonstrations shall be conducted between August 12th, 2019 and September 13th, 2019. Suppliers must reply to this RFI with the intent to present their solution. A representative from DOR will coordinate the demonstration schedule.
The department’s goal is to establish an Enterprise Data Strategy (EDS) and data governance model to gain insight to its existing data and provide greater customer service to its employees and citizens. Information gathered from this RFI will be used to assist the department with future roadmap activities to improve operations and analytics for better decision making through leveraging DOR data.
This RFI is for informational purposes only. No Contract or other binding agreement will result from this exercise. All suppliers with propriety information should complete the Trade Secret Form attached to this RFI.
