The Department, to continue development of the statewide health information exchange (“HIE”), is providing grant funding to eligible HIOs for the purpose of onboarding HIOs and medical providers to the PHG and various public health registries. Through this RFA, the Department is providing to eligible HIOs the opportunity to apply for grant funding for the following two (2) types of projects: HIO Infrastructure Grants and Provider Public Health System Submission Grants.
