This Project includes:  GENERAL, HVAC AND ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION.

PROJECT TITLE:  Millersville University, Renovation of Education Instruction Building.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (DGS 0411-0060 PHASE 2.1)
1. Base Bid No. 1:
a. Shall include all the work indicated on the Contract Drawings and described in the Contract Specifications except that work specifically called out as being part of another Base Bid. This includes temporary removal and reinstallation of ceiling tiles, modifications to existing pipe covers, fabrication of new pipe covers, removal of existing bug screen, painting, carpeting and modifications to finished casework.
2. Base Bid No. 2:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 1, except add temporary removal, cleaning and reinstallation of 75 fan coil unit exterior punched wall plates.
3. Base Bid No. 3:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 2, except add replacement of 75 fan coil unit exterior punched wall plates with exterior wall brick vent.

HVAC CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (DGS 0411-0060 PHASE 2.2)
1. Base Bid No. 1:
a. Shall include all the work indicated on the Contract Drawings and described in the Contract Specifications except that work specifically called out as being part of another Base Bid. This work includes removal of existing unit ventilators and console fan coil units, disconnection of RTU-3, conversion of the chilled/hot water 2-pipe system in the 4-story portion of the building to a condenser water system, replacement of existing pumps, providing new pumps, building automation system programming, building automation system hardware, testing and balancing and coordination with Commissioning Agent.
2. Base Bid No. 2:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 1, except add two heat exchangers in the boiler room for the condenser water loop and provide motor operated dampers at 6 locations.
3. Base Bid No. 3:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 2.

ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (DGS 0411-0060 PHASE 2.4)
1. Base Bid No. 1:
a. Shall include all the work indicated on the Contract Drawings and described in the Contract Specifications except that work specifically called out as being part of another Base Bid. This work includes disconnection of existing unit ventilators and console fan coil units, providing 2 new branch circuit panel boards and associated feeder, branch circuit conduit and wiring to new water source heat pumps and pumps and motor starters.
2. Base Bid No. 2:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 1.
3. Base Bid No. 3:
a. Same as Base Bid No. 2.

ESTIMATED RANGE: $500,000 to $1,000,000.

Liquidated Damages = .1 General Construction is $80.00 per day, .2 HVAC Construction is $220.00 per day and .4 Electrical Construction is $80.00 per day.

IN Room 200, Stayer Building, 51 Lyte Road, Millersville University, Millersville, PA, 17551.  All potential bidders that will be attending the Pre-Bid Conference must contact William Glassmyer at 717-787-9059 by 1/30/18 at noon with how many participants will be attending the Pre-Bid Conference.

ATTENDANCE AT THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS.

There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.  Small Diverse Business minimum participation level is 7.5%.
