CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITIES! The Pennsylvania Department of General Services is partnering with the Gordian Group for the administration of small construction projects with a value between $10,000 and $300,000. This program is known as Job Order Contracting (JOC). In support of these projects, we have issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the North-Eastern region of Pennsylvania as defined in the RFP. We are seeking qualified contractors for General Construction (GC) only. The use of Small Diverse and Small Business subcontractors and suppliers is strongly encouraged and will be a factor in the award of the RFP’s subsequent contracts. There will be a mandatory regional pre-proposal meeting on November 29, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m. – 12 Noon. If you are interested in doing business with the Commonwealth as a prime contractor you must attend this meeting; it is mandatory. If you are interested in doing business as a subcontractor or supplier, you should also plan to attend this meeting, as attendees will be given an opportunity to introduce their company and to provide a very brief summary of the goods or services available.
