This Project includes:  GENERAL CONSTRUCTION.



PROJECT TITLE:  Danville - Mahoning Creek Flood Protection Project.



BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  The Work of this Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Excavation of 469 linear feet of impaired levee 2. Construction of 469 linear feet of earthen levee at a 2H to 1V slope. 3. Excavate and restore existing wetlands that will be disturbed during construction. 4. Construct R-6 riprap toe protection with keys and cutoffs. 5. Extend reinforced concrete headwalls, wingwalls and slabs on existing drainage structure inlet. 6. Construct a permanent access ramp along the S.R. 54 left bank levee along Mahoning Creek. 7. Install 2 permanent chain link access gates. 8. Install 2 temporary gates at the Danville Waste Water Treatment Plant and along the Rights-of-Way fence along S.R. 54 during construction..



ESTIMATED RANGE:  $1,000,000 to $2,000,000.



Liquidated Damages:  .1 General Construction = $500.00 per day.

A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for TUESDAY, JUNE 23, 2020 AT 11:00 A.M.
AT Danville Municipal Building - 2nd floor, 463 Mill Street, Danville, PA 17821.  Attendance to the Pre-Bid Meeting is MANDATORY.  The DGS Guidance document that must be returned to DGS by COB Thursday, June 18th, 2020 must be emailed to:

for inclusion on the pre-bid attendee list and to be allowed to participate in the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting.


Each attendee must review, sign, and return the DGS Guidance document by COB Thursday, June 18th, 2020 for inclusion on the attendee list and to be allowed to participate in the pre-bid.


There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.  Small Diverse Business minimum participation level is 7.5%.
