This Project includes:  GENERAL, HVAC, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION.



PROJECT TITLE:  SCI Mercer - Expand Building - Dietary.



BRIEF DESCRIPTION:  This project includes a 2,500 square foot addition to the existing food production and storage areas, and renovation of approximately 3,220 square feet of existing food production and storage areas. This project includes relocation of existing food service equipment and new food service equipment.

Work in the General Construction Contract includes, but is not limited to the following:
1. Site preparation including clearing, and earthwork.
2. Site improvements including paving and landscaping.
3. Site utility work (except electrical) more than 5 feet outside the building line.
4. Hazardous material abatement.
5. Selective demolition.
6. Slabs-on-grade including earthwork, subdrainage, and insulation.
7. Exterior enclosure including roofing, walls, doors, and curtainwall.
8. Interior construction including partitions, doors, interior glazed openings, and finishes.
9. Miscellaneous items including concrete equipment bases and painting of mechanical and
electrical work.
10. Kitchen equipment.
11. Remaining work not identified under other contracts.



ESTIMATED RANGE: $2,000,000 to $5,000,000.



Liquidated Damages = .1 General Construction is $270.00 per day, .2 HVAC is $130.00 per day, .3 Plumbing is $130.00 per day and .4 Electrical Construction is $220.00 per day.

Client Agency Requirements -----A gate pass is required for those attending the Pre-Bid Conference.

ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS ARE INVITED AND URGED TO ATTEND THIS PRE-BID CONFERENCE.



There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.  Small Diverse Business minimum participation level is 7.5%.
