This Project includes: PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS. PROJECT TITLE: SCI Cambridge Springs – Air Condition Program Service and Building 3 (Medical) BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, replacing Building 3’s existing split system composed of roof mounted condensers paired with duct furnace air movers with new multi-zone VFR heat pumps. Upgrade Building Controls for buildings 1 and 2 and replace housing unit E’s roof top heat pumps. ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $1,000,000.00. Please click on the link below to create a user profile and view the documents: e-builder Professional Selections Link The PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS MEETING is scheduled for THURSDAY, JUNE 3, 2021 AT 10:00 AM. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities (BDISBO) identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. This is a significant programmatic change from the SDB and SB Participation program contained in prior Projects issued by Public Works. Applicants now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the project e-builder solicitation folder for instructions regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation. The Goals for SDB participation: 17% The Goals for VBE participation: 3% ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF SHORT-LISTED FIRMS. The following information will need to be provided: detailed resumes for key design and management personnel with references; an organizational chart and detailed work plan, identifying key personnel roles and percent of time assigned to the project; an explanation of how the firm assures high quality bidding documents; an assessment of key project issues and risks to the project; identification of special investigations, studies or testing that may be required; a description of how diversity will be accomplished within the team; evidence of financial capability; a list of professional liability claims and/or legal actions within the last ten years and a non-binding fee proposal.
