This PROJECT IS A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL and includes: SHIPWRIGHT CONSTRUCTION.
PROJECT TITLE: The Project consists of: Restore US Brig Niagara, including hull, keel, planking, frame and rails. Erie Maritime Museum – U.S. Brig Niagara, Erie, Pennsylvania.
ESTIMATED RANGE: $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00
Liquidated Damages = (.5) $2,000.00 per day.
DATE FOR RECEIVING PROPOSALS IS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2018 AT 2:00 P.M.
A PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 29, 2018 @ 10:00AM – Erie Maritime Museum, 150 E. Front Street, Suite 100, Erie, PA 16507.
All potential proposers are invited and urged to attend this Pre-Proposal Conference.
There is no Bid Guaranty required for this Project.

Shipwright Construction
Mailed proposals must be received by the Department of General Services on the 3rd Floor of the Arsenal Building, 1800 Herr Street, Harrisburg, PA, prior to the Proposal Submission Deadline Date and Time regardless of method of delivery used. No proposal shall be considered if it arrives after the Proposal Submission Deadline, regardless of reason for the late arrival. All envelopes containing proposals must be clearly marked “PROPOSAL” and must include the address of the Proposal Submission location, the assigned contract, the proposer’s name, address, project name, project number and the Proposal Submission Deadline Date and Time. Mailed proposals include proposals submitted through the United States Postal Service or through an express mail service. If the prospective proposer chooses the USPS as the method of delivery, please note that the USPS does not deliver directly to the Department of General Services, it is delivered to a processing area. Therefore, please allow an additional seven (7) calendar days for delivery. Proposals delivered in person by the proposer or through an authorized representative will be received by the Department of General Services, on the Third Floor of the Arsenal Building, 1800 Herr Street, Harrisburg, PA from individuals presenting picture identification and providing evidence of his/her authorization from the proposer to deliver the proposal on behalf of the proposer, no later than the Proposal Submission Deadline.
