Description: Removal of winter precipitation to include snow, sleet, and ice from the roadway and parking lot areas within the confines of the non-restricted areas on the Base. Provide all equipment, manpower, and materials to remove the winter precipitation and apply approved ice melt product as needed.

Potential bidders and their employees will be required to pass a background check performed at the 193rd Special Operations Wing prior to granting access to the base.  All background checks will be run and reviewed by local Base Security Forces.  Following the review/findings of background checks, entrance to the base will be granted per installation entry procedures of local Base Security Forces.

All potential contractors must follow the Commonwealth of PA (COPA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) COVID-19 guidelines for the site visit and the awarded contractor will be required to follow all COPA and DoD COVID-19 guidelines that are effective during the contract period.

J. Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit. DMVA has scheduled a mandatory pre-bid site visit at the date and time indicated below.  All potential bidders shall register to attend the pre-bid site visit. No more than two (2) representatives from a potential company shall attend. To register to attend the pre-bid site visit email Kristen Bach at krbach@pa.gov no later than 2:00 PM Friday August 20, 2021. If you do not attend the pre-bid site visit your bid will be considered non-responsive.  It is encouraged that the company representative attending this pre-bid site visit read the Project Statement prior to attending.      ***Masks are REQUIRED***
