Description:
The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency is procuring eight (8) automatic license plate readers to be installed in in vehicles to be used by multiple police agencies. The data retrieved from these tag readers will be retained in a mission critical regional server. The information exchange begins at the local responder level, whereupon the local emergency responder vehicle obtains the information, sends the information to the shared server and then the information can be redistributed back to the local emergency responder vehicle level. This will provide a collaborative effort of automatically gaining, retaining and processing information on a regional scale.
