This solicitation is part of the Small Business Procurement Initiative; therefore, suppliers must qualify and self-certify as a small business in order to be eligible to receive an award in response to this procurement. Bidders should be certified at the time of bid opening and include a copy of their certification in the bid response. This IFB is for Brown, Oil Grain Leather for use by PA Correctional Industries (PCI) in boot manufacturing at SCI Phoenix. ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH THE PA SUPPLIER PORTAL. Enter pricing on the Items tab. Bidders should also download, complete and attached the Reciprocal Limitations and Iran Free Procurement forms to their solicitation.
In addition, PRIOR to the solicitation due date and time (submission deadline), a sample must be mailed to the Department of General Services, Bureau of Procurement (refer to Specification A for details). Phoenix must test and approve the bid sample before an award can be made.
