The Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) invites interested Prime and Subcontractor suppliers to participate in an open forum discussion relative to the upcoming AGRAGUARD Project RFP 6100047738 procurement. Additional details can be found in the Notice of Forthcoming Procurement at: http://www.emarketplace.state.pa.us/Procurement.aspx
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) requires support (i.e., full applications lifecycle management support services such as modifications, enhancements, patch deployments, defect management, etc.), system integration service (new technologies, data exchanges, policy compliance, etc.) and organizational assessment services for the following applications listed below:
USAHerds - Animal Health Reporting Diagnostic System
USALIMS ?- Animal Laboratory Information Management System
FoodLIMS, - Food Laboratory Information Management System
EquineLIMS - Equine Laboratory Information Management System
USAFoodSafety - Manages Licensing, Inspections, Reporting for the food industry
USAPlants?- Manages Licensing, Certifications, Testing for the Plant Industry
AgTrans - Provides money management for the applications mentioned above
Inspection Utility App (Android Only) - Mobile application used by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania inspectors. It provides a convenient way to manage inspection workload
EatSafePA Mobile Application - Mobile application which provides instant access to thousands of restaurant and retail food facility inspection
LIMS Mobile Application - Mobile application which is used by veterinarians to manage Equine Infections Anemia (EIA) Accession submissions to the lab.
Topics for discussion will include, but not be limited to, industry standards, vendor community insight, expertise and best practices.
The event will be held at 555 Walnut Street, Forum Place, Bureau of Procurement, 6th Floor, Conference Room 1, Harrisburg, PA 17101 on Friday , April 12, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern.
The first hour and a half of the supplier forum is reserved for Offerors interested in becoming potential prime contractors for this RFP. The second hour and a half of the supplier forum will be tailored for both potential prime and Small and Small Diverse Business subcontractors. The second hour and a half will include a presentation on the Commonwealth’s Small and Small Diverse Business program, discussion relative to potential subcontracting opportunities for services and supplies and networking time for prospective prime and Small and Small Diverse Business subcontractors.
