The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (“L&I”), Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (“OVR”) issues this Request for Information (“RFI”) to broaden its perspective regarding comprehensive services to address the driving needs of Pennsylvanians with disabilities who are seeking to secure or retain employment. Specifically, OVR is seeking clarification in “best practice” models utilized by rehabilitation facilities to complete the evaluation processes and provide prescriptive services for vehicle adaptations and modifications, as well as individualized training services.
OVR anticipates the development of a provider agreement that includes best practice standards, service options for customers based on individual needs, and credentialing requirements for service providers.
