The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (The Department or DCNR) requires the services of a contractor for the aerial application of insecticides over certain populated and non-populated forested areas in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to prevent defoliation of high-value trees by the gypsy moth, Lymantria dispar, on approximately 1,651 acres. One Project is listed in these specifications for 2019:
1) Project FPM 19-01 (Rotary-Btk) for approximately 1,651 acres in 2019; acreage for future years will not be known until December 1 of the preceding year.
