The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) is seeking a vendor-hosted syndromic surveillance solution and related maintenance and support services. Through the use of syndromic surveillance, Emergency Department (ED) data is collected, categorized and analyzed for trends and potential outbreaks in disease syndromes as well as drug-based occurrences, resulting in alerts to various parties who will use the data to support effective and proactive/reactive decision making.
