Description:
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Forestry, Tuscarora State Forest requires the services of a contractor to provide foliar machine or hand application of herbicide in specific forested areas on an estimated 117 acres consisting of two (2) blocks in the Tuscarora State Forest in order to remove dense patches of Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii). NOTE: A site inspection is highly recommended. A tour of the treatment blocks will be given on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 at 9:00 am. Prospective bidders should meet at the intersection of East Licking Creek Road and Wynn Gap Road use directions from Block 1 to get to the tour. Andrew Baker will conduct the tour.
