Description:
The Game Commission is soliciting electronic bids for a vendor to supply three (3) Polaris Ranger 6x6 UTVs or equivalent for prescribed fire and habitat work. Used models are being specified because Polaris ended production of their 6x6 UTV in 2017 and new inventory has been nearly depleted across the country. UTVs will be delivered to Harrisburg, then distributed to regions that need replacements for their 4x4 units, which have proved to be inadequate for handling the weight of fire equipment on rugged terrain. Specifications are attached. Equipment must be delivered to PGC Headquarters no later than December 12, 2017
