Description: Unemployment Compensation, Altoona is soliciting bids for a 24-month HVAC services.  New contract is anticipated to begin November 1, 2017 through October 31, 2019.

See Statement of Work for full specifications to be incorporated as part of the final contract terms.

BIDDING REQUIREMENT

All interested bidders must visit the job site in its present state to accurately evaluate the work required.  Bidders will be furnished with a Proof of Visit form, to complete and sign on the date of the site visit.  Such written proof must accompany this bid; failure to do so will disqualify bidders.  A signed Proof of Visit form must be electronically attached to the bid.

Bidders do not need to schedule an appointment for the site visit.  The available date(s) and time(s) for the site visits have been predetermined for this IFB.  All interested bidders must conduct their site visit during one of the dates/times specified herein.

Option 1: Friday, August 25, 2017 from 9:00am - 10:30am or 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Option 2: Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 9:00am - 10:30am or 2:00pm - 3:30pm

All quantities are estimates and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Commonwealth of PA.

For purposes of the electronic submission, all responders should bid $1.00 on the lines for Material/Parts. Actual prices will be based off the invoice.
If the responder is offering to provide parts at a percentage discount off usual and customary charges, the responder will enter the bid less the percent off. For example, if the responder is offering parts/materials with a 10 percent discount, the responder will enter .90 cents as the bid price.
