Description: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Bureau of Forestry, Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests, require the services of a contractor to remove competing vegetation through basal or cut stump application of herbicide, and selective felling of trees in specific forested areas of the Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests.  This will aid in the establishment of stands of high-value trees by reducing competing understory tree species on an estimated 222 acres.
