PADOC Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Services
Description:
The PADOC is seeking a contracted partner to provide both correctional pharmacy and pharmaceutical services to correctional facilities throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which house approximately 48,500 offenders. The PADOC is required to provide all offenders in its custody with medical, pharmacy and pharmaceutical services which are equivalent to those available to the community. Pharmacy and pharmaceutical services must be provided to all current and future PADOC institutions (including changes in specialty care units) and the two secure Community Corrections Centers (CCCs) at Wernersville and Progress. PADOC institutions do not have pharmacies or pharmacists on site. The selected Offeror will provide all medications ordered by PADOC licensed prescribers. The selected Offeror must also provide and maintain supplies of Naloxone to all CCC’s.
