Description:
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking to procure a new MMIS to replace its aging Provider Reimbursement and Operations Management Information System (PROMISe™). Known as MMIS 2020 program, the program will procure a modular enterprise-wide system providing automated support for Pennsylvania’s Medicaid program in both the fee-for-service (FFS) and managed care organization (MCO) delivery systems, as well as various waiver programs. The system must meet all current federal and state regulations and technology standards including the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions and Standards at 42 CFR §433.12 which includes the Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA). Accordingly, the Department is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct independent verification and validation of the program throughout its life cycle. Additionally, the qualified vendor shall complete certification checklists for changes made to the legacy system (PROMISe) as a result of state and federal mandates. Additional detail is provided in Part IV of this RFQ.
