This Project includes: PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS. PROJECT TITLE: Lincoln University - Track and Basketball Court Restoration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work includes but is not limited to demolition of track completely and construction of new asphalt substrate and resurfacing and relining of track to meet NCAA Class 3 requirements. Upgrade the present playing surface of the outside asphalt basketball court near the Living Learning Center to a safe and cosmetically pleasing playing condition. ESTIMATED CONCSTRUCTION COST: $1,312,500. APPLICATION DUE DATE THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2018 AT 5:00 P.M. The PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS MEETING is scheduled for TUESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2018 AT 10:00 AM.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF SHORT-LISTED FIRMS: The following information will need to be provided: detailed resumes for key design and management personnel with references; visual examples of relevant projects completed by the lead design professional and key personnel, with contact information for references for these projects; an assessment of key project issues and risks to the project; identification of special investigations, studies or testing that may be required; a list of professional liability claims and/or legal actions within the last ten years; Provide an informal analysis of factors the firm believes may have contributed to the failure of the existing surfaces and the corrective actions they would recommend; and Provide a proposed regimen of testing (destructive or otherwise) to verify these observations.
