Description:
|
Consolidation and modernization of six regional dispatch centers in to one located at the PA
Game Commission Headquarters in Harrisburg PA. Purchase and installation of 8 dispatcher
stations and 7 call taker positions. All agency personal will be dispatched from this location
and all agency telephone calls will be received through this center. Stations are designed off
of current PA State Police standards. Each dispatcher station will be designed to
accommodate a MCC7500E radio console with Audio Interface Module (AIM), two PC Towers
and six touch screen monitors. They will also include powered work surfaces, low level
lighting, independent temperature control and cable management systems. The Call Taker
stations will include powered work surfaces, low level lighting, 3 touch screen monitors,
independent temperature control and cable management systems. Over the past two years,
we have been transferring to the statewide P25 radio system. In this time we have shuttered
our out of date low band radio operations. currently our regions are operating using a modified
consolette to conduct radio transmissions. This is only meant to be a temporary solution. It
is critical for agency operation and officer safety that this project is completed on time and as
soon as possible.
