Description:
|
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) seeks an administrator to facilitate the continued development and implementation of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps, a statewide program that offers work experience, job training and educational opportunities to young people who complete recreation and conservation projects on Pennsylvania’s public lands. The intention of this solicitation is to have the successful offeror continue the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps program leading up to and starting in 2021.
The goals of the Outdoor Corps are to cultivate Pennsylvania’s next generation of conservation leaders, to engage underserved citizens in conservation work, and to diversify DCNR’s workforce. The successful Supplier will actively engage in planning, structuring and implementing a program that meets these goals. The program shall provide training in work skills necessary for future successful employment in the conservation industry and comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act and all applicable employment laws and regulations.
