Description:
|
This procurement is for materials with a service element to include over 120 different textile items that meet an array of needs for multiple Correctional Industries (a Bureau within the DOC) locations statewide. This procurement is recommended to be structured into lots comprised of similar items and/or to paired items that require an exact color match for an end product. An individual item may have multiple specifications based on a facility’s equipment, the volume of an order (packaging specs) or the application of the item. A supplier’s ability to meet delivery deadlines and providing quality material is critical in order to maintain production. The RFP scoring and evaluation criteria is multifaceted covering delivery lead times, specification compliance, supplier qualifications and responsibilities (Liquidated Damages, reduced lead times, testing requirements, etc.), sample submissions and suppliers’ technical submittal are to all be considered and evaluated. **Please note this contract expires 10/31/2019 but DOC has requested that it be extended thru 12/31/2019 to align with their calendar years' purchases.
