Description:
|
Provide everyday pharmacy services to state hospitals and children and youth facilities. Supplier will provide drugs, equipment, and pharmacist assistance and/or guidance when needed. These facilities do not have a pharmacist on staff. Supplier will provide specific packaging needed by individual facilities.
The supplier shall manage for one or all locations, including any new facilities that may open during the contract term. Pharmacy services shall be in agreement and in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
The Supplier shall provide legend drugs (prescription medications) as specified by prescriptions issued by physicians or CRNP’s licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of PA who are treating the residents. Supplier shall also provide non-legend drugs (non prescription meds, over-the-counter medications) as requested. Non-legend drugs may need to be labeled for specific patients.
