Description:
Maintenance and update of a clinically-based PDL; P&T Committee supports to enable the Committee to make clinically and fiscally sound recommendations to the Department (drug monographs, cost analysis); Federal and State supplemental and market share drug rebates (State rebate templates; State rebate negotiations with manufacturers; MCO HCPCS units crosswalk to NDCs; Federal, State supplemental, and market share rebate processing and reconciliation); DPW-specific PDL webpage with links to the DPW pharmacy webpage; PDL and rebate cost savings analysis, compliance reports and outcomes reports; environmental scanning (Medicaid and industry); retrospective drug utilization review of individual patient profiles and aggregate claims data for under or over utilization, and appropriate follow-up and intervention with providers for future prescribing.
This contract will encompass the preferred drug list services provided by the current Magellan contract as well as drug rebate and retrospective drug utilization review services provided as part of the HP (MMIS) contract. Until the contract is in place, a one-year optional renewal year will be exercised on the existing Magellan contract.
