Description: Services to provide ground application of herbicide, AND selective felling of trees in specific forested areas of the Bald Eagle State Forest, to aid in the establishment of stands of high-value trees by eliminating competing understory tree species (Centre and Snyder Counties).  Contractor to provide the herbicide, and its cost must be included in the per-acre bid amount.  A tour of the treatment areas will be conducted on Friday, January 28, 2011, at 9:00 a.m.  Prospective bidders should meet at the Breininger Gap parking lot near the intersection with Timber Road.  It is highly recommended that prospective bidders attend the tour to inspect the sites of the treatment areas.
